Personal, Social & Health Education
Personal, Social and Health Education is an important aspect of the education of the whole child, encompassing issues concerning physical, mental, emotional and social development and welfare. Our aim is to develop children’s awareness of themselves, and their ability to take responsibility for their own safety, social, physical and mental health.
Personal, Social and Health Education has a cross‑curricular theme in the National Curriculum. Many elements can be taught through the subjects of the National Curriculum in addition to being promoted through the wider aspects of school life, e.g. E-safety, Anti-bullying.
