Design & Technology

This is a practical subject involving children in designing and making where they are encouraged to use a variety of tools, skills and materials to develop their ideas.  Good technology draws on many curriculum areas such as maths, science, computing and art. It allows children to identify and solve real problems in order to create functional, appealing, high quality products for a range of relevant contexts and users.
